First of August - Primo di Agosto

The first floor and part of the second floor are finished. 


Il solaio del primo piano e parte del solaio del secondo piano sono terminati.

Second floor with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Behind the wall the staircase leads to the front door.
Secondo piano con due camere e due bagni. Dietro la parete c'è la scala d'ingresso.

Second bedroom with bathroom. The inner partitions have not been built yet.
Seconda camera con bagno. Le tramezze interne non sono ancora state costruite.

Part of the second floor is not finished and it is possible to look down at the first floor.
Parte del solaio del secondo piano non è stato ancora completato e si può guardare giù al primo piano.

Holiday - Vacanze

In July we had a short holiday: some nice walks in the mountains and a short biking holiday in South Tyrol, along the Pustertal, from Innichen to Bruneck.


In Luglio ci siamo presi una breve vacanza: qualche passeggiata in montagna e una breve vacanza in bicicletta lungo la pista ciclabile della Val Pusteria, da S. Candido a Brunico.

The monster - Il mostro

The 30th July 2010 was a day I will never forget: for the first time in my life a saw "the monster" in action, a sort of mechanical dinosaur with a long trunk (proboscis) that spits out concrete!

Il 30 luglio 2010 è una data che non dimenticherò: per la prima volta in vita mia ho visto "il mostro" in azione, una sorta di dinosauro meccanico, con una lunga proboscide, che sputa fuori calcestruzzo.

The "trunk", the big pipe, enters through a window and is ready to spit out cubic and cubic meters of concrete for the staircase and the floors.


La proboscide, il grosso tubo, entra da una finestra ed è pronto per sputare metri cubi di calcestruzzo per il getto delle scale e del solaio.
