The floors of the Old House are made of wooden beams (rotten) and boards. In order to strenghten the structure, all floors need to be removed and remade of concrete. The first step was to remove the floors of the kitchen, bathroom and room 1 of the first floor. The partition between room 1 and bathroom was also removed to get a bigger sleeping room.
I solai della Casa Vecchia sono fatti di travi (marci) e tavole di legno. Per rinforzare la struttura a scopo antisismico, i solai devono essere rimossi e rifatti in calcestruzzo. Il primo passo è stato rimuovere i solai della cucina, della stanza 1 e del bagno del primo piano. Anche la tramezza tra stanza 1 e bagno è stata rimossa per ottenere una camera più grande.
