At last the roof is taking shape. The wooden beams are put into the steel frame.


Finalmente il tetto prende forma. I travi in abete lamellare vengono inseriti nella struttura d'acciaio.

The new stucture is up - La nuova struttura è in piedi

February is still quite cold, but very sunny and dry, so they took the opportunity to put up the new steel structure. A few days of hard work and this is the result:
Febbraio è ancora piuttosto freddo, ma molto soleggiato ed asciutto, così hanno colto l'occasione per montare la nuova struttura in acciaio. Alcuni giorni di duro lavoro e questo è il risultato:

The steel structure is the anti-earthquake frame for the new part of the house - la nuova struttura in acciaio è l'intelaiatura antisismica della parte nuova della casa.

The new part of the Old House is going to be totally different from the old part. Even the structure will be different: a new steel structure...that is ready in the workshop.
La parte nuova della Casa Vecchia sarà completamente diversa dalla parte vecchia. Anche la struttura sarà diversa: una nuova struttura d'acciaio...che è già pronta in officina.

Last works in Autumn 2010 - Gli ultimi lavori nell'autunno 2010

Now the Old House is quiet, but in October a last big event happened: the concrete reinforcement of the second floor and the attic.


Adesso la Casa Vecchia è tranquilla, ma in Ottobre un'ultimo, importante avvenimento è accaduto: il getto del solaio del secondo piano e della soffitta.
